Hi everyone! 

I’m Daliah Ruin, a born-and-raised Michigander with a lifelong love of books and storytelling.

I’ve been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. By fourth grade, I was already reading at a tenth-grade level, and by middle school, I’d discovered how much I loved creating stories of my own and sharing them with my classmates.

For years, writing was something I loved but never seriously considered pursuing. That changed when my best friend, Alicia, convinced me to finally take the plunge. Her confidence in me, encouragement, and support throughout every part of this journey are a huge reason I’m here today.

As an author, I don’t plan on limiting myself to one genre. As a reader, though? Give me dark romance, pitch-black romance, thrillers, and contemporary fiction, and I’m happy.

Because my books may vary quite a bit in genre and intensity, I want readers to know exactly what they’re getting into before they start. No accidentally picking up a dark romance when you were expecting a sweet contemporary romance. Every book will be clearly labeled so you can decide what’s right for you.

Potentially triggering topics will be clearly identified for readers who prefer not to go in blind.

I’m incredibly excited to finally share my stories, characters, and works in progress with all of you. This has been a long time coming, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.
